I’ve always been drawn to photography, both the technical craft and the artistry of using light and composition to tell a story. Seattle is home, but travel has always been a big part of my life, taking me to 30 countries across six continents. Some of my favorite photographs have come from simply sitting at a café with a coffee in hand, slowing down and letting a place reveal itself.

I love photographing people and places, from the energy of live events to the quiet details that make somewhere feel new. I’m especially drawn to the moments that can’t be planned, the expressions, gestures, and fleeting bits of light that somehow tell a story. Some shots find you. I just try to be in the right place when they do.
